SHARON GREENTHAL

Sharon Greenthal
Sharon Greenthal, one of the founders of the BAM Bloggers at Midlife Conference, is a writer, blogger and digital content creator. A stay-at-home mom for 20 years, Sharon’s experiences raising her children and being married for 27 years inspire her writing on her blog, Empty House Full Mind, which focuses on midlife, empty nesting, parenting and marriage, with a little bit of social opinion and world observations thrown in.

Sharon is the Parenting Young Adults columnist on the website About.com, reaching tens of thousands of readers each month with advice and how-to articles for parenting children ages 18-30. She is a regular contributor to Purple Clover and The Huffington Post. Sharon is also a co-founder of Midlife Boulevard, the online magazine for midlife women, where she held the position of editor-in-chief until November of 2015.

In addition to writing, Sharon is passionate about social media and using it to broaden her views and the views of others. One of the leaders of the largest community (1500+ and growing) on Facebook – The Women of Midlife – for midlife women who write and blog, Sharon finds engagement and relationships on social media to be unique and rewarding.

Raised on Long Island, Sharon has lived in California since the age of 15. She is the mother of two grown kids – a daughter who is 26 and a son who is 23. She lives in Long Beach, California in her beachside empty nest with her husband and their perfect dog, Lambeau.

TERESA KINDRED

Teresa Kindred

Teresa is the author of several books including The Knot at the End of Your Rope; Ten Ways to Hold on When You are Stressed Out and Mom: PhD-A Simple 6 Step course on Leadership for Moms. She was a major contributor to Humor for a Teacher’s Heart, Cup of Comfort Devotional: Daily Reminders of God’s Love and Grace and most recently, Lost Lessons from Life on the Farm. She also authored four Precious Moments books that were illustrated by Sam Butcher. Her magazine column “Kindred Spirits” appeared in Kentucky Living magazine for 13 years. She has been writing and blogging for numerous sites on the internet since she discovered the wonders of cyberspace and her newest endeavor, NanaHood.com, is truly a labor of love.

Teresa has a M.A. in Secondary Education and has taught 7th graders, high school students, college classes and was the assistant director at an adult education facility where she tutored high school drop outs and helped them get their GED. Teresa lives in Kentucky with her husband of thirty-two years, Bill (aka Poppa), her twin sons who she can always tell apart (if she has her glasses on), and their seven dogs. She loves being a nana and anxiously awaits the day when she has at least as many grandchildren as she has dogs.

Anne Parris is Managing Partner in charge of brand work, advertisement, and community for MidlifeBoulevard.com, a lifestyle site for women over 40 and over 50. Our readers are Gen-X and Boomer women. Anne loves working with brands in the areas of social good, travel, and health. She’s worked with great brands like MinuteClinic, McDonalds, NETGEAR, Fresh Press Media, and AARP.

Anne is one of the leaders of the largest community (1500+ and growing) on Facebook – The Women of Midlife – for midlife women who write and blog.
Anne is in her fourth year as a volunteer Champion for [email protected], and a Social Influencer for Social Good with Johnson & Johnson.

 

BETH ROSEN

Beth Rosen

Beth Rosen is the co-founder & co-host The ChicagonistaLIVE Show, SparkFete.com, and 4 Keys Media.  A new media innovator and professional vlogger, Beth is always finding new ways to bridge gaps between the new and old media dichotomy. Beth and co-founder MJ Tam have built strong voices in the blogging community and run Sparkfete – a pop-up video, events & media production company. They launched Chicago’s popular social talk show, #ChicagonistaLIVE. They broadcast live from notable Chicago locations such as the Willis Tower, John Hancock Building, Navy Pier, and more. They also produce consistently high-engagement videos for brands such as Red Nose Day, American Heart Association – Go Red For Women, and they also produce events such as the annual Women Driving Excellence and Windy City Soiree.

Beth is an expert in brand and blogger relationships with years of experience. Beth is a podcasting veteran on NBC,  was the original “Mom Talk Radio” on-air personality, and a WGN TV segment mom.
