Sharon Greenthal, one of the founders of the BAM Bloggers at Midlife Conference, is a writer, blogger and digital content creator. A stay-at-home mom for 20 years, Sharon’s experiences raising her children and being married for 27 years inspire her writing on her blog, Empty House Full Mind, which focuses on midlife, empty nesting, parenting and marriage, with a little bit of social opinion and world observations thrown in.
Sharon is the Parenting Young Adults columnist on the website About.com, reaching tens of thousands of readers each month with advice and how-to articles for parenting children ages 18-30. She is a regular contributor to Purple Clover and The Huffington Post. Sharon is also a co-founder of Midlife Boulevard, the online magazine for midlife women, where she held the position of editor-in-chief until November of 2015.
In addition to writing, Sharon is passionate about social media and using it to broaden her views and the views of others. One of the leaders of the largest community (1500+ and growing) on Facebook – The Women of Midlife – for midlife women who write and blog, Sharon finds engagement and relationships on social media to be unique and rewarding.
Raised on Long Island, Sharon has lived in California since the age of 15. She is the mother of two grown kids – a daughter who is 26 and a son who is 23. She lives in Long Beach, California in her beachside empty nest with her husband and their perfect dog, Lambeau.

Teresa has a M.A. in Secondary Education and has taught 7th graders, high school students, college classes and was the assistant director at an adult education facility where she tutored high school drop outs and helped them get their GED. Teresa lives in Kentucky with her husband of thirty-two years, Bill (aka Poppa), her twin sons who she can always tell apart (if she has her glasses on), and their seven dogs. She loves being a nana and anxiously awaits the day when she has at least as many grandchildren as she has dogs.
